The drop in range comes in both gas and electric to meet your kitchen needs. The huge benefit in choosing the perfect drop in range is to meet your needs. Drop in ranges come in a variety of modules and styles. You can have an oven attached or without an oven. To match your particular style it would be wise to shop around before you make your final decision. To choose the right range you must decide where in the kitchen you want to place it. There are different variations like if you want a grilling area or even a specific place for a wok burner that you could have set away from the main cooking area. The astounding thing is that you can place them anywhere you want in your kitchen design. You’ll see that when everything is placed in the right area, according to your personal kitchen design, everything will come together. The size of your range is up to you, also. Many different ranges come in the same 30 and 36 inch sizes. There are commercial-looking ranges that just might interest you, as well as smaller ranges. If you look into it, some of these manufacturers offer a customization option for the exact size to meet your specific needs.
Stores and Brands
Whirlpool has a great selection of ranges. Whether you want it to free-stand or a drop in, they have a large selection to choose from and at a price that are hard to beat and just as good of quality. The colors are usually just black, white or stainless steel, but if you ask for a few dollars extra, the manufacturer can probably customize it for you. Sears usually carry Whirlpool products, but a phone call could save you an unnecessary trip.
Kenmore also has a great selection and is also found at Sears and at Sear’s outlet stores. Their selection isn’t as wide as the Whirlpool brand, but they’re just as good. The price of a Kenmore is quite considerably lower, so if price is an issue, then Kenmore is what you want in a drop in range.
GE appliances also have a large selection of ranges that might be able to fit your budget. The price is bit more than Kenmore units, but not as much as Whirlpool products. These ranges can be found at Lowes, Home Depot and at Best-Buy stores nationwide.
